Went to the Rising Sun for my Birthday and found the food excellent quality and a relly varied menu. Not just the popular standards but some unusual choices such as rabbit or venison. I had the venison which was so tender and juicy it melted in my mouth. The service was great and not rushed. A place to be recommended. |

I would say The Rising Sun is one of the very few places which I would recommend that has maintained it's "oldie worldy"atmosphere - kept up the excellent quality of food and has not become too expensive (like so many other pubs have.)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Excellent food served by friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere and the prices are realistic. Will continue to visit this one in the future as it's number 1 in my book. |
