The Black Horse at Caythorpe is a small, old beamed country pub with its own small brewery producing Dover Beck Bitter. Serves good pub food. Reputed to be a favorite hide out for Dick Turpin and his horse Black Bess, hence the name of the pub.

I've only visited at lunchtime, and sampled some of the best fish & chips of any pub. Lovely open fires in the winter. Dover Beck is a nice pint.
