called in this pub when passing through. was very pleasant surprise. great atmosphere. good service, only had lunch. bacon & brie ciabatta. it was very nice. even the cup of coffie with choc flake was a very nice touch. will return for evening meal. a little gem! |

Has greatly improved since it changed hands a few years ago. Food is great value and well cooked - my rare steak was cooked as requested - one of the best steaks I've eaten out in a long time. |

A great village pub which manages successfully to be many things to many people - a local for a beer, a good dining pub and somewhere to relax and perhaps play pool. It's is already very good with great food, only wish it had a beer garden. |

Becoming very popular particularly at weekends. Quite understandable. Great food and a nice place just to chill. |

The new management have given the pub a facelift and included an upper floor restaraunt ,which serves quality food at reasonable prices.The pubs transformation seems to have worked, as I understand the pubs restaraunt regularly sells out.Well worth a try! |

A varied and interesting menu a refreshing change to 'pub grub'. I understand that new management have recently taken over and I'll definately be back. |
