I was recommended the Kingston Arms for food by a number of friends and our visit there did not disappoint. It is a lovely pub jammed packed with charm, it has nooks and crannies which accommodate mismatched pine tables in every shape and size the place just oozes atmosphere. The service was very good however some of the waitresses lacked charm but I feel this was due to their young age however Hanna who server our table was lovely she was friendly and made us feel very welcome she had a good sense of humour to boot, which always helps. The food was fantastic, the taste, the presentation and variety I could not fault it, but I must recommend the Truffle Torte to all you chocolate lovers out there it is to die for! The prices are reasonable too approx £5.50 for a starter £12 -£15 for a main and £4+ for a dessert. I will be going again very soon!
The food was excellent, the service was a little on the dopey side, but I was made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere is great
Moved to the UK from Switzerland four years ago - and I have eaten in many great pubs and restaurants, but the Kindsdon Inn last week is defenitely in the top two of over 300+ places! Well done - and thanks again!
