The Old Crown at Shardlow is a busy 17th century pub with interesting bric a brac. There are low beams with tankards hanging from the ceiling. Good range of real ales and wide choice of good value food. The pub is very close to the Derbyshire / Leicestershire border. There is a large car park at the rear and a children's play area. Well worth a visit. Accommodation one bedroom only.

excellent food and a nice country atmosphere. Have been many times as its in the middle between sheffield, where my parents live and birmingham where i live!

Lovely night supping my way through about 8 traditional ales followed by a healthy plate of home cooked food . To finish the night in lovely accommodation
