lincolnshire is famous for 2 things, batemans beer and its sausages. they had ran out of batemans, the other beer was flat, the sausages were anaemic and processed, chips pale and soft. lovely interior though..... just change your food supplier! |

A family group stayed for 2 nights 24/25.4.08 in excellent,recently refurbished en suite rooms.The food was very good indeed,the full English breakfasts were a delight.They catered extremely well for guests following a family funeral and the arrangements were entirely satisfactory.The Chef was very helpful and very competent...the Manageress was excellent too and couldn't do enough for us...highly recommended in my book! |

My family stumbled across this pub on a sunday afternoon wander around. We went for sunday lunch via the door at the back and were amaze as to how big and modern it was. We ordered sunday lunch from the restaurant upstairs and were further surprised by the speed, quality of the food and friendly service. I'm going to go back here at the earliest opportunity. |

Awful food. Rooms look like they haven't been cleaned for years. Chef was rude to customers. |

My wife and I have been coming here for years. If you are looking for a good meal with friends then this place is ideal. Portions were huge and served hot. David the Chef will always make an appearance and ask if the meal was satisfactory. Always very friendly and welcoming. |

A La carte was limited and average quality.
Bedroom/en suite was very poor, tatty, in need of good decoration and a good clean. |
