A bit gamey on weekend nights, but quiz night is always fun. Cask conditioned ales are a staple. Anyone who's anyone pops into the snake for a drink to start the night.

A good range of grub to suit all tastes with several vegetarian options. It's nice to sit at the outside tables on fine days, but traffic can be noisy near the road. Friendly bar and kitchen staff, and a cosy atmosphere.
