The popular Ropsley Fox is built in creamy-grey local stone and dates back to 1657, It has an inviting appearance with its shuttered windows and colourful display of window boxes and hanging baskets. The main bar walls are hung with an eclectic display of memorabilia. The Ropsley Fox is well worth visiting for its excellent food and real ales. The restaurant is part of an old pub formerly known for many years as the Foxes Brush and changed hands a couple of years ago. The new owners provide a choice of good English menu or Chinese dishes. There is a main restaurant which is an old beamed room and a second dining area in the newer conservatory.

Third time at this pub and things just get better and better. Head chef and owner Jack is creating a superb pub and restaurant that not to be missed. Highly recomended and well worth a visit.

Went to the meal and entertainment night. Food, service and value for money was excellent. It is nice to see this pub on the up. Head chef Jack and his family are getting a very good reputation for them selves. Keep up the good work

This pub has recently been refurbished and opened in October. My family went there because it specialises in steaks. Every steak was cooked to perfection. Value for money and we will certainly return.

Incredible place inside. It's like a museum with memorabilia everywhere you turn - including a bubble car and rowing boat in its steeply vaulted roof. Delicious food.
