Walked in and was surprised how quiet the pub was. It lacked atmosphere and felt stuffy. We were told we could only have carvery as it was nearing end of dinner service (still had 20mins before closing though) and as we had children we were going to be shoved in a corner - even though my 2 are older. We felt the lady serving just generally couldn't be bothered with us, and so we left and found another friendlier pub near by. |

Went for dinner on my husband's birthday at bank holiday time. Rarely have we been so disappointed in any pub. There were no starters available and the main dish my husband wanted was also unavailable. We will never bother again |

This is a lovely pub.Food is brilliant every time. Recommended to me by my trainspotter friend.Look out for him there in the summer, He's the one wearing an anorak! |

Amazing food, amazing choice, very nice place to go to for a wonderful meal. Waiters and staff very polite and efficient! |

My favourite restuarant. Always an excellent carvery, plus so many other dishes to choose from, and the sweets, well, they are out of this world......absolutely delicious. And such a pleasant quiet location too. |
