We have eaten twice at this lovely pub and the food has been excellent on both occasions.

Just visited The Black Horse at Grimston for the 1st time after a recommendation. All 4 of us were very impressed with the quality of the freshly made food, which was served piping hot and was really excellent. The staff were all delightful and the service was impeccable. I shall definitely be going again.

Top-class food in a chocolate-box village pub, highly recommended. Go Wayne and Waynetta!

We,ve been maybe a dozen times in the last five years or so and have never been disappointed yet. Its even better now the smokers dont pollute the air any more.

Excellent service. The first time we visited, only the smokers let it down. The 2nd time, the food wasn't quite as well presented, but still recommend it. Hope to visit again soon.

We have visited this pub several times this year and introduced a number of different friends to it who all agree it is excellent. The menu has something for everyone (with a constantly changing specials board) and the service and welcome received are second to none. We look forward to many more enjoyable meals there.

Good food, very good value, marred by the dominance of smokers and very little ventilation for the small non-smoking section. Roll on 2007 smoking ban and this pub will be one of the best places to eat.

A pub restaurant that will benefit from the no smoking law which the government are 'pussyfooting over'
I'll go back when it's smoke free and I can taste the food
