The attractive timbered Boar's Head at Ardington is a civilised dining pub, over 400 years old and situated on a privately owned estate in the Vale of the White Horse. Interesting range of high quality food. Bar meals also availalble. No smoking extension. Children welcome. Dogs allowed. Patio. Real ales.

This pub was a huge disappointment - especially as we are local. The meals were inaccurately described and well below average considering the price. Further, the service was extremely poor. The staff were notable for their dismissive and disinterested attitude towards customers.
