We enjoyed a superb meal. The food was wonderful and we had excellent and very attentive service throughout our meal. We will definitely return. |

Food OK but service nothing short of appalling. Very slow in all areas, and when we commented that we were disappointed that one of our meals didn't match the description on the menu, the response from the owner/manager was argumentative and arrogant. There are far better restaurants in the area for less money. |

Excellent food. Staff could be a little better but they do try. Always a few good guest ales as well. Well worth a visit. |

The Plough and Anchor is the best food you will find in Buckinghamshire or Oxfordshire. The food is fine dining, high class meals at their best. James Wilkie is the head chef and provides unique and creative seasonal menus that are sure to delight. The Plough and Anchor is a dining experience not to be missed. |
